FTCCI & NMIMS forge ties to promote industry-institution collaboration
Hyderabad 07th June 2021: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry-FTCCI and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies-NMIMS have come together to promote skill development and industry-institute collaboration. FTCCI & NMIMS signed a Memorandum of Understandingto establish a close partnership that will foster a collaborative environment in bringing the entrepreneurs, members of the Industry, government and non-government agencies of the Indian states, more specifically of Telangana state. Curriculum design, industrial visits, student internship, skill development programs, guest lectures, management development programs and promote entrepreneurship among students were the thrust areas of the MoU.
Mr. Ramakanth Inani, President, FTCCI said that the partnership with the NMIMS reflects the importance to empower our educational institutions and provide them industrial exposure for guiding and enhancing them to upgrade to the new technologies. The partnership intensifies efforts to raise awareness of the professionals on the future requirements of the industry by way of organizing various programs and capacity building initiatives. FTCCI shall work closely with NMIMS to develop the educational system and modernize its tools to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Director, NMIMS-Hyderabad said that "Signing a MoU with FTCCI is another important milestone we have accomplished. The association with FTCCI would further augment our reach in connecting with local industries and SMEs in the state of Telangana through research, capacity building initiatives and case study development across industry verticals. NMIMS Hyderabad shall closely work with FTCCI in developing short term programs in the emerging technology and business environment space that would accelerate to achieve sustainable growth in an ever-changing market economy.”
FTCCIis the State's premier non-profit organization for business, support services and networking. It represents and liaises between business organizations and government agencies. One of the FTCCI's main objectives is in fact to bridge the gap between the field of education and that of industry.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Ramakanth Inani, President, FTCCI and Dr Tapan Kumar Panda, Director of NMIMS, Hyderabad.
