Introduction

Dr. Niladri Sett is an Associate Professor at the School of Technology Management and Engineering, NMIMS Hyderabad. His research focuses on trustworthy artificial intelligence and natural language processing, particularly the reliability and interpretability of machine learning and large language models.

Before joining NMIMS, he served as a faculty member at SRM University AP and completed his postdoctoral research at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, University College Dublin, Ireland.

Research and Publications

Dr. Sett’s recent research examines the faithfulness of AI explanations, mechanistic interpretability, privacy–explainability interactions, and human-centred NLP for low-resource languages. His broader work includes machine learning for healthcare and complex network analysis.
