Awarded the department’s Teaching Trophy for excellence in undergraduate education.

Vurukonda’s research interests include Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Security. He is a Life Member of ISTE (LMISTE) and a Fellow of the Indian Association for Computing Machinery (FIACM).
Vurukonda maintains strong collaborations with both private and government organizations. He is a dedicated advocate for a holistic educational approach through skilling and certifications, believing that students excel when their emotional, social, cultural, and academic needs are met in a supportive university environment.
