Mohammed Murtuza Soofi has a PhD in the Management (Marketing) from the University of Bologna, Italy. He has been a Visiting International Research Scholar at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has previously taught at the Bologna Business School in Italy and has served as an academic tutor at the Faculty of Economics, at the University of Bologna.
He has completed his Masters of Science in Business Management from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy and holds a PGDBM from the University of Hyderabad, India. He has worked with Amazon as a Business Operations Specialist in Marketplace Abuse and Transaction Risk teams. He has worked with an Italian Sustainable Ecommerce start-up, Impakter.com as a Platform Manager in Rome, Italy. Soofi is a trained Civil Engineer.
Currently involved in research in Consumer Behaviour, Soofi's research interests involve Brand Anthropomorphism, Brand Personality and Gender.
