Assistant Professor
Specialization: Physics
Qualification: Ph.D.

PROFILE DETAILS

Introduction: Dr. Soumyajit Seth is an academic and researcher specializing in Applied Physics, focusing on Nonlinear Dynamics and Electronic Circuits. With a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, his research has significantly contributed to understanding complex dynamical systems, particularly nonsmooth bifurcations and switching electronic circuits. Dr. Seth's expertise spans both theoretical and experimental domains, and he has a strong background in designing and validating electronic systems that mirror mechanical impact oscillators.

He has held positions as a Research Assistant Professor at Lodz University of Technology in Poland and as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin, Ireland, where his work continued to explore stochastic dynamics, bifurcation phenomena, and control of nonlinear systems. Dr. Seth has also made significant contributions to the academic community through his extensive publication record, participation in international conferences, and mentorship of students. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Technology Management and Engineering, NMIMS Hyderabad, where he continues to advance his research while contributing to teaching and administrative responsibilities.
