Dr. Marri Pradeep Kumar

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Marri brings over 11 years of experience in academia, research, and management education, with expertise in Operations Management, Quality Management, and Reliability Engineering. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Tech. in Design for Manufacturing, a Ph.D. in Reliability & Operations from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, and an MBA in Operations Management from IGNOU. Prior to joining NMIMS, he was associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Hyderabad, where he taught undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive management programmes. His teaching interests include Operations Research, Production & Operations Management, Total Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Project Management, Statistical Methods, and Modelling for Business Decision-Making. His research interests encompass Quality Management, Reliability Engineering, Optimization, and Advanced Manufacturing. Dr. Marri has published 38 international journal articles and 9 international conference papers and has co-investigated a state-funded research project sponsored by the Telangana State Council of Science & Technology (TSCOST). He continues to publish in reputed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals. Dr. Marri's academic accomplishments include receiving two Best Paper Awards at national conferences, achieving over 200 Google Scholar citations with an h-index of 8, and securing distinction in the IIT Madras NPTEL certification course on Python for Data Science. He has also authored the textbook Engineering Mechanics: Statics and Dynamics and contributed 22 academic chapters for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Marri has delivered expert lectures and Management Development Programmes (MDPs) on Lean Manufacturing, the Toyota Production System, 5S, and Cost of Quality for prestigious institutions and organisations, including Osmania University, NI-MSME, and the Institution of Engineers (India).
