A Doctorate in Management and Fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India with more than 22 years of experience in both Industry and Academia. Her work experience blends Teaching with Administrative and Audit. She began her career as an Accounts Officer in a Private Company in Chennai; then moved on to Auditing. She successfully conducted statutory, internal, and concurrent audits of various companies both in the private and public sectors including the Banking sector.
She switched to Academics in 2005 and joined ICFAI as a Faculty Member (Finance) for MBA and subsequently became the Regional Academic Co-ordinator responsible for handling academic co-ordination of 11 centres in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh region. She then worked with a few leading business schools and leading private universities like Jagran Lake City University, Bhopal and Alliance University, Bangalore. She also held various academic and administrative positions at the university.
She is currently working an Associate Professor with NMIMS at Hyderabad campus.
As a researcher she has authored several research papers in national and international journals. Her Research interest includes Strategic Cost & Management accounting and Corporate finance.
