Introduction:-
I am an Assistant Professor at NMIMS Hyderabad. I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics from BITS Pilani, where my doctoral research focused on fluid dynamics in porous media, with particular emphasis on membrane filtration, electroki©netic transport, and heat and mass transfer. My work combines asymptotic analysis and numerical methods to investigate complex flow systems with applications in pharmaceuticals, petroleum engineering, wastewater treatment, and biomedical systems.
My current research interests include studying the role of particle structures in electrokinetic and pressure-driven membrane flows, advancing analytical techniques for transport phenomena, and applying Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) to fluid mechanics problems. I am especially interested in connecting rigorous mathematical modeling with real-world engineering and scientific applications.
I actively welcome research collaborations in these areas. Interested colleagues may reach me at amit.saini@nmims.edu or amitsaini.maths@gmail.com.
